Free Games for 3 and 4 Year Olds

At three and four, children are learning hundreds of new words, starting to answer simple questions and beginning to count. These games keep things short and visual: one big picture, a question read aloud and a few large answer buttons, so even children who can't read yet can play.

Tips for parents and teachers

Play together for five to ten minutes at a time. Say the answers out loud with your child, point to the pictures, and talk about them afterwards ("What else is big?"). Stars and cheerful sounds keep it fun, and there is no timer, so nobody feels rushed.

Every FunMinds game is free, works in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, and needs nothing to install.
